dc.description.abstract | An inclusive bus was designed for the AFAPECH members by building a scale prototype for people with reduced mobility, people with cerebral palsy with a percentage of disability that exceeds 70%, who uses a wheelchair to mobilize. A HINO AK8JRSA chassis was used because its characteristics were adapted to the capacity of people that needed to be transported, in addition to the low cost it has in the market compared to other models, the design of the bus structure in the CAD software respects the requirements and specifications established in the INEN technical standards regulations enforced in the country, prioritizing the safety of people to be transported, this design will allow mobilizing 16 people in wheelchairs, for which a rigid adaptable restraint system was designed, which ensures the wheelchair stability and to withstand different stresses provides high security and comfort to the person with reduced mobility, it also counts with 14 normal seats. The static and dynamic analysis of the structure in the CAE software, showed deformation values as established in the technical standards regulations, in addition the safety factor is high when applying all the considered loads, so this proposed prototype can be implemented without problems since it guarantees the safety and comfort of the users, it will reduce the effort made by the therapists and also allow AFAPECH members to undertake recreation activities outside the institution, however it is recommended to consider the proposed design for the implementation of improvements that further facilitate the transport of people with reduced mobility. | |
