dc.description.abstract | The advance of the earth observation satellites has been very useful for carrying out several important studies linked up to areas that relate global change, as they provide cartographic information of the planet and real-time data that help for visualization and monitoring of natural disasters. The Emergency Management Service (EMS) of the Copernicus Satellite is a clear example of Earth Observation Satellites offering timely and accurate geospatial services and information derived from the detection of disasters through satellites and completed by available data sources. A clear example about this is the Copernicus Sentinel2 mission, which is comprised of two polar orbit satellites placed
in the sun's orbit with a 180 ° phase between them. This project aims to maintain a constant monitoring of the changes on the Earth’s surface, as well as approaches such as emergency management, security and climate change. With the objective of knowing its operation, a simulatio n of an observation satellite was designed toprovide coverage to Latin American countries trying to get closer to reality in case some kind of these satellites are implemented in a specific place in the southern zone of the American continent. | |
