The objective of this study was to evaluate the productive behavior of rabbits when fed with different levels of corn stover meal in the growth and fattening stages, this research was developed in the Academic and Research Unit of Minor Species of the Faculty of Livestock Sciences of the ESPOCH, with a duration of 90 days, 80 weaned rabbits of the New Zealand breed of 60 days of age with an average weight of 749.28 g were used, of which 40 rabbits are male and 40 female rabbits, we worked with three treatments (10,20,30 %), to be compared with a control treatment. A completely randomized design was applied in a combinatorial arrangement of two factors, factor A: levels of corn stover meal (10,20,30 %); factor B: sex, with five replications and the size of the experimental unit was 2 rabbits, i.e., 10 animals for each sex and 20 animals for each of the treatments. The experimental results were subjected to an analysis of variance (ADEVA) and a separation of means according to Tukey with a significance level of (P> 0.05). In the productive behavior by effect of the different levels, there were no statistical differences between the variables under study; however, in the sex factor, highly significant differences were recorded, where the females presented a carcass yield of 54.28% higher than the males with 47.71%. It is concluded that feeding the rabbits with different levels of corn chalaza meal did not affect the productive behavior. The use of 30 % corn stover meal in the feeding of New Zealand rabbits is recommended as it presents a profitability of 0.28 USD.
