dc.description.abstract | The system to monitor the degree of curvature of the spine was developed for applying in people who work long hours in sitting position. A data processing system of wireless communication was implemented., for this purpose, a nodemcu Lolín module for reception and processing of information was used. This module is stored in a database generated with MySql, obtained by means of 3 inertial sensors unit (IMU) that are placed in a garment designed for the user, approximately in the vertebrae T1-T2 (kyphosis zone), T12-L1 and L4-L5 (lumbar area). The website and the mobile application were developed for monitoring the curves and controling the system, with features that allow the user the correct use and analysis of data. An analysis of the confidence of the system was made., having positive results for the use of the Device in people whose physical characteristics are the following measures: height between 158 and 165 cm, width of chest between 87.89 and 92.1 cm, waist between 74.56 and 80.13 cm and length of the back between 42 and 43.75 cm., where its error of precision is 2.33º in the area of the thoracic kyphosis and 1.88º in the area of the lumbar lordosis. It was concluded that the system developed is intended to correct the bad postural hygiene of the person. In addition, the information can be stored up to be observed by a physician and he or she is able to diagnose any alteration of the physiological curvatures of the spine, such as thoracic kyphosis and lumbar lordosis and make it possible to monitor a recovery process. It is recommended the device to be used without any clothing inside in order to reduce the precision error that clothing may cause. | |
