dc.description.abstractThe objective of the present work degree is to carry out the performance analysis of the mechanical Jack lifts car of the model M4 from GRAT WALL Brand, which is composed of its base support elements, rivets, upper and lower arms, upper support, power screw, forks and bearing set. The procedure that was determined are the lifting of the planes and application of reverse engineering, which helps us to model the geometry of the mechanism in a CAD software to obtain the digital model and then analyze through the dynamics of transient structural and static structural, using the ANSYS MECHANICAL software. The input values for the mechanical model were obtained directly in the amendment of the company CIAUTO S.A, which were; gross vehicle weight in the front and rear wheels and distance in the anchor points for the placement of the mechanical Jack, these parameters were used to simulate the dynamic and static mechanical model. It was possible to appreciate the performance of the mechanical Jack through the results obtained through the mechanical model and through mathematical calculation face the experimental performance analysis established in ISO 8720 in accordance with the Ecuadorian technical regulation INEN RTE 195 to decree the reliability of the mechanical system. By comparing the results obtained in the analysis by the processes, it was determined that the mechanical system fulfill with the established in the standard, therefore the model of the mechanical Jack in the vehicle M4 is reliable. The performance the mechanical Jack for mechanical elevation elements was analyzed through the comparison of results obtained experimentally with analysis of the finite element method that approves the reliability of the mechanical element. The current research work can be taken as a starting point for future collaborations on the development of mechanical jack construction.
