The objective was to analyze the value chain of quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd) in the Corporation of organic producers and marketers Bio Taita Chimborazo (COPROBICH) does not know its critical points, so this value chain is analyzed through the objectives: characterize , evaluate and identify critical points. Methodologically it has a descriptive scope, non-experimental design and its approach is qualitative and quantitative. The survey techniques were used on a sample of 225 partners and interviews with the technicians and managers of the company, for this purpose instruments such as questionnaires and interview guides were used. The analysis was carried out in two dimensions; positive in order to know and characterize the value chain and regulations in order to evaluate the performance of the value chain, for this the chain mapping, economic analysis, description of performance controllers (coordination, technology) , support environment and inputs), evaluation and identification of critical points. Resulting in the level of application of organic fertilizers, quality of organic fertilizers, utilization of the installed capacity of the processing plant, agricultural mechanization, research and technology transfer, training, land tenure and legalization, quality of labor, promotion of consumption Quinoa, adverse weather events and physical soil characteristics as critical points. technology with -1.5 has the highest number of critical points, while coordination with 1.4 does not present critical points.
