dc.description.abstract | Within the study defined as " Elaboration of a safe and healthy procedures manual for the operating groups of Empresa Eléctrica Riobamba Sociedad Anónima applying the ISO 45001:2018 standard", a manual of procedures for these groups has been drawn up to ensure that activities are carried out in a safe manner. Therefore, it was necessary to identify and evaluate the risks present in the different work positions of the four operating areas of EERSA (Empresa Elèctrica Riobamba S.A), using the triple criteria matrix of the IESS (Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social) and the matrix proposed by the Colombian Technical Guide, GTC-45. The study included field activities such as risk identification, interviews, observations, quantitative analysis by means of surveys and the triple criteria method; the analyses were carried out on a total population of 96 workers, which made it possible to establish the priority risks for the development of the GTC-45 matrix. These matrices showed considerable values on the existing risks when performing activities at heights and with exposure to electric current, of which the "Not Acceptable" risks of falling to a different level, falling to the same level, blows, sprains, risk of electrical contact, stand out. With all these data collected, the procedures manual was prepared, detailing each of the steps to be followed for the use of lifting elements such as special basket type carts, ladders and climbers. Through the study carried out, it was possible to determine the level of risk to which personnel are exposed, as well as to demonstrate the level of commitment to compliance with safety regulations and instructions. It is recommended that managers implement safety procedures in order to reduce the probability of occurrence of subsequent work related incidents. | |
