At the present work, the clown is discussed as a way of learning to know oneself, and with this self-knowledge how to help the other, to promote this type of playful communication as a personal training tool that helps the individual to recognize himself as being unique and socially empathetic with its environment. An investigation was carried out where various theories were analyzed between texts, articles and interviews with professionals from the clown, theater, medicine, and student practitioners of this artistic branch, where the benefits of this playful practice are exposed both for those who practice it and for people are around him, through participatory observation, a better understanding of the humanist part that is treated within the classes and social groups to which the clown directs his aid is achieved. The video talks about the fundamental bases of the clown, the same that are explained and supported by contributions on the development of trust among its participants, as well as the humanistic and personal contribution that is formed directly with those who practice this model of alternative education, creating bonds of solidarity not only with them, but with those who are part of their social circle in an altruistic way. The clown seen as a necessary art form in the formation of the human being and his emotional intelligence as an integral being of society.
