In this document an analysis of the efficiency of winding structures of single-phase motors is proposed, by modeling magnetic fields using the finite element program FEMM. In the document, the modeling of the single-phase capacitor start-up machine is carried out using the sequence matrices. The short circuit and no-load tests are carried out. Then, the simulations performed for the different winding structures of the machine are analyzed. The efficiency and electrical torque curves of the machine are also determined. Finally, the machine that gives the best results in both efficiency and torque is built.
