Nowadays, given the effects generated in the environment by the use of non-renewable resources, there has been a greater interest on the part of Governments and public and private sector entities to develop and use new sources of renewable energy to gradually reduce dependence on non-renewable sources such as oil, natural gas or coal, whose use and exploitation are associated with higher rates of carbon dioxide generation that pollute the atmosphere and contribute to global warming and climate change.
