dc.description.abstractThe research is oriented to the preparation of a mixed integer optimization mathematical model that allows determining the hourly power dispatch of the park for a 24-hour period, considering renewable technologies and thermal generators, in order to minimize operating costs, start-up and shutdown costs of the thermal units, including the costs associated with the production of renewable energy, taking into account the restriction for the contingency of the generators, also applying the restrictions of the delivery and withdrawal of power from generators, primary resource associated to renewable sources, restrictions to satisfy the load, the start-up and shutdown of the generation units and the system reserve, whose resolution allows exposing the remarkable results of technical, economic and that promote the search for improvement in the operation of electric power systems.
