dc.description.abstractThis article presents a model of relocation of electrical distribution transformers, starting from an already installed distribution network, in which the transformers within the study area are considerate to be operating below their nominal capacity. To perform this evaluation heuristic techniques are used subject to technical criteria. The model made in a real network is tested, georeferenced data is proposed, information that was obtained from the OpenStreetMap platform, once the current operating condition of the distribution system has been evaluated, necessary changes will be proposed to the network that guarantee the supply of the demand, with the right quantity and location of transformers, searching the reduction of technical losses. For the deployment of the medium and low voltage network, the minimum expansion tree will be used for graphic representation. The feasibility of making such changes from an economic point of view will be analyzed.
