dc.description.abstractAt the substation Gonzanamá, there were two input lines to 69kV and power to the transformer, which did not have switches; fuse disconnectors existed only for operation and protection. The average output voltage reclosers possessed manually operated electromechanical. In the modernization of the substation SF6 switches were implemented in each of the lines with isolators 69kV grounded line and bar, including the power to the transformer. At 13.8 kV lines were implemented electronic reclosers with their operation and bypass breakers. All operating elements allow remote control and maneuver through the Utility SCADA. Planes were digitized intervention allowed the modernization of the substation. In the diagram of operation of each element in the design adjustments were made based on the needs of the substation; also underwent adequate distribution terminal blocks, taking into account the terminal blocks of each element. Finally, prior to the implementation of intelligent function tests were performed in the RTU (Remote Terminal Units).
