dc.description.abstractMigration is one of the complex phenomena that exist in the world, and our country is not exempt, one of the associated problems is labor insertion and the psychosocial variables that affect this search for a decent job in its host country, for this reason, it has been proposed to look for the correlations that exist between labor insertion and some psychosocial variables that are associated with life events, for this, it has been reviewed from various theories and various disciplines of the Social Sciences the advances and findings that are have been carried out on migration, the theory of the study on labor insertion has also been reviewed, in addition to the theory of psychosocial variables, the legal regulations that protect migration and the right to work could not be set aside. To meet the objective of verifying the hypotheses that are raised, a study with quantitative methodology has been proposed, with a descriptive - correlational - empirical non-experimental design, the sample that has been taken is non-probabilistic with an intentional sample of 30 participants, the cases for investigation will be identified with the “snowball” technique. The main findings are: that in the migrant workers in the private company of Quito it was possible to obtain the statistically significant correlations that exist between: a) labor insertion and life satisfaction; b) labor insertion and perceived personal discrimination.
