Abstract

This paper is an analysis of the most important aspects for proper location of active nodes ETAPA EP Company, nodes are placed in order to maximize the performance of the copper network which takes into account today. This study is done based on parameters such as the number of existing subscribers to their respective projection and width of band sued in a given sector, thereby obtaining the best location of the nodes in order to deliver high speed to the end user to comply with the condition that the loop is less than 1km. In addition, a Manual for installation thereof with the recommendations given by the manufacturer was established finally by financial indicators such as VAN and TIR performed an economic analysis determining project feasibility.
