dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this degree work is to analyze a reinforced concrete building with a f'c of 210 kg/cm2 and hot-rolled ASTM A36 structural steel with a fy of 36 ksi. The reinforced concrete structure includes the following structural elements: deck type slab, reinforced concrete beams, hot-rolled joists, reinforced concrete columns and two-way T-type foundation beams. The structural steel building has the following structural elements: deck type slab, beams, joists, hot-rolled columns and two-way T-type foundation beams. Regarding the design, the architectural drawings provided were used to elaborate the pre dimensioning of the elements of each type of structure, to later implement them in the SAP2000 program and thus obtain the final dimensions. Finally, with the data obtained, the APUS was used to prepare the final budget for each structure.
