dc.description.abstractThis article analyzes the impact of shrimp sector and its exports on the Guayas province growth. To develop this study, a quantitative research was settled between years 2013 and 2018. The variables that were used for the research were the real GDP growth in Guayas and the exports level of shrimp. The results show a positive correlation between both variables. This result denotes the importance of shrimp sector in the growth of the referred province.
