The objective of this project is to establish a comparison between an original brake disc and an alternate brake disc by means of experimental road tests and analysis. For this purpose, a measurement and simulation tool will be used to visualize the temperature around the disc, the wind speed and the braking distance. It is also necessary to take into account the properties of the friction materials of each one in order to compare them with the results obtained in the finite element analysis (F.E.A) using ANSYS software.
