This thesis "Design and implementation of a module for practices on programmable controllers and HMI, under the platform of Rockwell Automation, for the company INELSERVI SA" that is based primarily on keeping constant levels in two tanks (T1, T2) by two 1HP pumps which are controlled by drives of the Powerflex 4 family. The signals from the sensors are connected to an Allen Bradley CompactLogix L35E CPU, responsible for executing the logic contained in the programs, in which it communicates with the drives through an Ethernet - TCP/IP to DSI converter. To control the drives it defines a PID loop which is fed back through a differential pressure sensor to close the loop. The whole system is monitored and controlled by a SCADA system in which you can see all the signs of the model such as (frequency inverters, alarms, trends, establish a Set-Point). The module is based on a limited number of instruments and actuators in real terms, for the practices will be the most similar to the industrial environment, but it also proposes simulated elements in the SCADA.
