Implementación de un sistema de comunicación IEC 61850 para monitoreo y control de los módulos de protección de líneas de transmisión, sistemas de generación y redes de distribución.

Abstract

The present project of degree is aimed at the implementation of a didactic communications module that operates under the IEC 61850 Standard. This module allows the development of laboratory practices about electrical protections using the existent modules in the laboratories of the Electrical Engineering of the Politecnica Salesiana University of Guayaquil, module that are used through a LAN network that integrates the IEDs installed in the protection modules of the generation system, transmission lines and distribution networks. We developed practices that allow us to know the functionality of the IEC 61850 standard and its GOOSE and MMS protocols, the configuration and operation of the IEDs considering the software available for the SEL brand IEDs installed in each of the protection modules.
