dc.description.abstractThis article objective is analyzing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on remittances in the Girón canton, through a mixed research approach: quantitative and qualitative. The main results show that the majority of people receive monthly remittances and the destination in a greater proportion to consumption, to cover daily expenses such as food, health or education.
