dc.description.abstractThe Automating of three wire knitting machines stainless steel of the Marte Industrias C.A. company the which by damage to the control panels and in part electrical / electronic they were out of service, generating losses to the company, with the development of this project to correct the inoperability of machines and with thus increase the capacity of production of the company, the levels of efficiency and automation. For the automating of the process of rolling wire uses a logic programmable controller (PLC) Siemens S7 – 1200 and a touchscreen KTP600 mono basic with that is implemented a system of interface human – machine (HMI) with protocol of Ethernet communication. The HMI controls the process conformed by the three wire knitting machines, the graphical interface used that allows the operator starts the system, choosing the time of cutting of the mesh of according to the needs of the company.
