dc.description.abstractIn the field of wireless technologies has increased the appearance of transmitting devices, receivers, base stations and repeaters, emitting many radio frequencies signals to the environment, becoming waste energy, something polluting. In this work, the development of a device for the reuse of these remaining radio waves was proposed, capturing them to convert them into useful electrical energy and store it in small devices such as super capacitors and batteries. The energy was captured by means of an antenna, to then pass through a tuning, rectification, storage and elevation of voltage used in the charging and operation of electronic and electrical devices such as low-power cell phones, motors and LEDs. The system has 4 modules: The first is the capture module and antenna, consists of a telescopic antenna of 1.5 meters placed on a support where the circuitry was also placed, it was screwed to an object to keep it at a certain height. The second is the coupling module, consisting of variable coils and capacitors to correctly tune AM and FM frequencies. The third module is the rectification module, which converted the alternating current from the coupling circuit into direct current, it also doubled the voltage and filtered it (voltages of 1.7 to 15 volts and currents from 26 to 325 microamps were obtained). The fourth module is storage, where the batteries and super capacitors were placed, to charge them and raise their voltage to a useful level, by means of small electronic cards or called step up.
