The purpose of this project is to provide the laboratories of the electrical engineering career of the Salesian Polytechnic University with a stable voltage source, with the capacity to deliver different voltage levels according to the user's requirement, which will be tested by feeding a direct current motor coupled through its axis to a synchronous three-phase generator and regulating the terminal voltage of this one. For this purpose, a variable autotransformer has been used with a reduction motor which, by means of chains, will vary the position of the variac contacts, increasing or decreasing its voltage, an alternating voltage sensor to measure the voltage to be controlled, a display 16x2 to show the measured value and the required value, a matrix keyboard to enter the desired voltage values, a rectified bridge for direct current output and an Arduino Mega that will process all the data and give orders to the reduction motor to act or not . The system will have the option of being used in manual or automatic regulation mode to satisfy the needs of the didactic tests that the professors and the students want to carry out.
