The introduction of distributed generation taking into account the different primary resources in the networks of distribution systems leads to tangible benefits, however, mechanisms are required that allow adequate planning and incorporation. Under the aforementioned, the research has formulated a mathematical model of mixed integer nonlinear optimization that determines the insertion of distributed generation in the nodes of the primary feeders of the distribution network, considering that they are of the symmetric type, for the effect will return AC power flows, the characteristics of the network, the investment costs of the generation systems distributed by type of technology, all with the aim of minimizing the costs of the energy not served that will be produced by the shortage of the demand. The optimization model is applied to two IEEE model networks of 9 and 14 nodes, using annual percentages of increase in demand, for this purpose the modeling takes into account that the network infrastructure is not modified for any increase in load, so that later the affectation or benefit of the insertion of DG in a planning evaluated in the medium term can be determined.
