In this paper, we want to refer to two topics that frequently have been studied by the Philosophy of Knowledge: sensation and perception. With this, we want to give it a panorama –from a philosophical perspective, keeping in mind the contribution of the neurosciences (NCs)– on the perceptive process and their relationship in the construction of knowledge. In this way, we will try to explain the role that it plays, analyzing their components, and their linking in the learning process. In addition, since the current education faces new challenges, this investigation is framed in the proposal of integrating the cognitive studies to educational system.
