dc.description.abstractThis investigation accomplished between the months of January and July of the year 2010 itself; In the Community San Juan - Canton Pindal - Province of Loja. The treatments under consideration were: T1, Variedad INIAP - 528; T2, simple crossbreed FNC - 3056; T3 variety witness; T4, experimental variety 17-559 (at present INIAP 103 Mishqui Sara. Variables and indicators that came into question were: Days to the masculine flowering, days to the feminine flowering, height of plant, height of ear of corn, diseases, right after flowering, flatten from root to the harvest, coverage of ear of corn, number of harvested plants, farm weight, to the harvest, rotting from ear of corn to the harvest, aspect from ear of corn to the harvest, grain texture, humidity percentage to the harvest, performance for hectare.
