This analysis is based on a case study of a child with dyslexia. This problem hinders the teaching-learning process, particularly in reading and writing. This learning disorder affects the fluency of reading. Words are frequently omitted and punctuations signs are ignored. In writing, the child will interchange syllables not knowing which one to use correctly. Furthermore, dyslexia can also affect listening comprehension where the child might omit words after being read a small passage. The child is also easily distracted and shows little interest in learning.
