This thesis was carried out with the support of the material Electric Machinery I, Numerical Analysis and Matlab programming course aimed at students who attend the Career Technical Levels Academic early. Simulations in Matlab with Simulink Tool with Guide (graphics mode), prior to the formulas of the electrical circuit and dynamic circuit obtained from the DC motor independent connection, besides solving formulas by numerical methods were developed, such simulations are delivered to the laboratory Motors and Generators will guide the knowledge acquired in the classroom to develop, practice and experiencing schedule, concepts and principles of operation of DC Motors Independent connection. different practices were held with their simulations in Matlab, running the engine continuously no-load and load to different values, observing the graphs versus time behavior rpm, armature current and torque armature. And scheduling practices were implemented within the time set for the preparation of the thesis.
