In this article, a test system for a benchmark 14-bus Hybrid Micro-network is compared using the “Electrical Transient Analyzer Program” software. The studied Micro network has two voltage levels and was developed by this paper’s authors in Matlab & Simulink previously. The analysis was carried out based on the variables of the original case study, adapting the elements to the software. The study includes a balanced three-phase fault mode to know its maximum short-circuit values in one of its buses. Vrms and Irms waveforms indicate dynamic state fault behavior on generation buses. This delineation allows to carry out the previously elaborated work towards another simulation platform. It is important to carry out this comparison to be able to input the possible changes that are present, along with all their benefits and drawbacks, in a new simulation environment. In the ETAP simulation, low percentages of difference are achieved with the original Matlab/Simulink design.
