This present paper has made with the objective of knowing the importance of HVDC interconnections, considering this systems has various configurations wich depend of projects being executed, for example the particular characteristic of conexion with back to back technology wich is carried out within same the same substation. Using the DIgSILENT PowerFactory software, it analyzes the behavior of two electrical test power systems, using stationary and dynamic simulations, with the help of models for the elements of the interconnection. For the simulations of the models in stationary and dynamic state, the behavior of the load flow system and the unexpected events of short circuit, load increase and disconnection are observed, analyzing the type of disturbances that occasionally occur in the systems and thus related to certain elements of the interconnection. So the feasibility and stability of the interconnection is determined with back to back technology.
