dc.description.abstractThe project deals with the implementation of a procedure for the analysis of the microstructure by in-situ metallography in the buckets of the pelton runner of the Paute-Molino Hydroelectric Power Plant and a subsequent comparative analysis of the microstructure obtained from a runner in the state of supply and another with several hours of operation. Due to the wear and tear that it presents throughout its useful life, in order to be able to extend the criteria of structural integrity of the buckets of the impeller.
