dc.description.abstract | Research is about modeling using the finite element method of an unsteady flow in a trapezoidal channel, from the Saint - Venant equations. The objective is to obtain the most approximate to the reality flow profile. The results show the advantage of the finite element method in contrast to finite differences or finite increments. | |
