dc.description.abstractThe presented system provides a continuous and widespread access to energy consumption by utilizing the advancement of IOT technology. The experimental analysis is based on the data collected to obtain the pattern of electricity consumption and graphically represent the load curve of electrical equipment for domestic use in a certain time interval. The objective is to be able to characterize energy consumption by applying the disaggregation of electricity. This process consists of separating the total electrical load of a single home into specific electrical appliance loads, through intrusive monitoring of each appliance through the prototype created that allows determining the power consumption of each individual device
