D distributed generation is associated with the implementation of small generation sources, installed near the consumer that connects to the electrical energy distribution network. In this sense, the location and size of the generators distributed in the transmission networks have an impact on the operation and control of the electrical systems and in turn increases the reliability of supply on demand, improves stability and the quality of the electricity supply, for this reason it has become necessary to carry out electrical studies on the integration of distributed generation. Based on the afore mentioned, the present work will establish an optimization model to incorporate GD to the network using optimal power flows, which will be solved by GAMS. The electrical variables resulting from the optimization will allow evaluating the voltage stability index, taking into consideration the minimization of voltage variations and active power losses.
