dc.description.abstractThe present research work includes a systematic review of evidence-based studies on the psychosocial impact on vulnerable populations in the face of the emergency situation and confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic between March to July 2020, study´s objective is to investigate the repercussions that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused on mental health, generating a wide range of psychosocial consequences at the individual and community level. In the research search phase, 26 studies were analyzed which meet scientific research criteria cataloged as research or intervention articles, which allowed the study to be structured into three categories of analysis which are: first, the risk groups, in which it has been addressed to health personnel, people with pre-existing mental disorders, prison population, the elderly, women, children and teenagers; after that, the consequences of mental health have been analyzed; and finally the strategic guidelines against the pandemic.
