In the present article the modeling, design and construction of an electric assistance system implemented in a mountain bike is detailed. This system draws energy from a Ni-MH battery pack that activates a low-voltage system for controlling the bicycle and a high-voltage system for activating the electric motor. However, in order to design the system efficiently, the first sections detail the characteristics of the elements that make up the electrical system and after that the modeling, connection and operation of the electrical assembly is described, which will allow the motor Electric power provides enough power to boost the system. Finally, the assembly of the assembly and the tests carried out to determine the autonomy of the hybrid bicycle are detailed.
