dc.description.abstractIt takes sadness to know what happiness is, noise to a in our country, the Balsa processing industry is one of the oldest, Ecuador is the first producer and exporter of balsa in the world for more than fifty years, and according to the information service of the Ministry of Agriculture, 90% of the production is exported mainly to the United States and the european economic community, and only the remaining 10% is used for home-made crafts in the country. The forests destined to the cultivation of this wood, characterized by being lighter and more moldable than others, are located on the coast and in the amazon.
