dc.description.abstractIn this paper we present the partial results obtained with a new approach to combine HSV and RGB histograms and MPEG-7 CLD descriptor. The combination was conducted using Borda Voting-Schemes in three databases: Wang, ZuBud an UW. Despite the poor initial classification performed with CLD descriptor, our proposal has achieved good results for the Wang database (82.66 %), outperforming the precision of HSV (72.33 %) and RGB histograms (79.33 %), and CLD descriptor (53 %). In the other databases (ZuBud and UW) the combination approach was unable to perform a significant improvement.
