dc.description.abstractIn this investigation of ancestral knowledge and practices of farmers in San Joaquin direct observation and interview as a method in each of the 29 farms, where farmers are between 65 and 90 years old were used. This work aims to determine the knowledge and practices of farmers in San Joaquin, to reappraise the transition to agroecology, in order to achieve food security and sovereignty rescuing the ancestral wisdom and respect for natural resources.
