The present work was carried out in order to know if the inefficiency of the cost of production has its cause in the lack of automated manufacturing processes, so it is proposed to analyze the technology of the process stages (cutting, preparation and finishing) to identify in which area the highest level of automation is generated in the companies under study, evaluate their manufacturing processes, the technology of their production plants; and, defining whether automation improves production cost efficiency and its allocation of conversion and fixed costs contributes to the analysis of unit production cost. The methodology used focuses on the study of the most important companies in textile clothing. In the analysis of the results, the direct relationship between efficiency and automated processes can be observed, so it is concluded that the automated processes detect an important report on the economic result.
