Abstract

The purpose of the test is to know which is more optimal coating, considering that in our country there are many products that are used as coatings, but not all meet the objective is to protect the metal. Salt conditions coast emulate region, establishing a suitable methodology for this assay, given the ASTM B117 and ASTM D610 standards, indicating the same way of performing the assay and the corrosion respectively.
