dc.description.abstractThe degree work presented suggests a teaching guide for Basic General Middle Education, by considering the didactic game at the educational setting. This proposal aims to provide teachers with a guide focused on the didactic game for the teaching of Mathematic; so that the contents are worked playfully and with pertinence to children’s reality. During the course of the bachelor’s degree, several educational practices were carried out that made possible to record data regarding the methodology implemented in the mathematics classes, where the hardships emerge in the classes of this subject were determined regarding the motivation of its academic study and the students’ achievement. Facing this reality, the implementation of an active methodology is proposed, that involves the whole process of knowledge construction of the students as the main actors. In such wise it preserves the stated vision by constructivism by adapting new learning to previous knowledge through meaningful and functional activities. The research work starts with the diagnosis of the situation, addresses a theoretical part which contains the background research and the theoretical foundation alluding to the area of Mathematics and the didactic game. This is followed by the Teaching Guide, which contains lesson plans for Mathematics that include skills, objectives, evaluation criteria and indicators, methodological strategies, resources, and the process of developing recreational activities, which are elaborated and adapted by the author to stimulate the education procedure in the area.
