Partial discharges (PD) are one of the significant reasons why dielectrics degrade. An alternative method to analyze the DP is proposed, considering three axes that are the detection, the measurement using the digital filters and the PD classification using the neural network tool. The proposed method will demonstrate an efficient technique for its implementation in high voltage laboratories that do not have a detector of partial discharge.
