This document is to determine the ability of three native plant species in the forest of Aguarongo (Shiripe-Myrsine dependens, Rañas-Viburnum triphyllum, Yugyug-Miconia theaezans), to capture carbon. The purpose of this document is to promote the strategy of using forests to counter the large emissions of CO2 released by humans into the atmosphere, which ultimately cause the greenhouse effect.
