Today, the need for efficient processes and machining friendly to the environment has increased substantially in terms of productivity and eco-efficiency. Based on these premises the present investigation describes the implementation of a minimum amount of lubrication which consists of spraying the air-lubricant mixture at constant pressure of 4 bar, with flow rates established for the investigation in 25 ml/h 50 ml/h of the same were compared with lubrication system flood at 3,5 bar pressure and flow 15 l/min; for obtaining constant. Applying the statistical method of Taguchi application L9 orthogonal matrix which reduces to 9 experimental evaluations for each machining type in this case grinding and surface finish it was determined. After carrying out each of the experiments in the vertical machining center mark EMCO Concept Mill 260, Roughness measurements were taken with the equipment Mitutoyo SJ 210, reaching determining that implementation of the MQL improves the surface roughness Ra of the aluminum alloy 7075-T6 in the finish due to the value of this, decreases by 36 % and 12 % for the lubrication system MQL 50 and 25 ml/h respectively, when compared with a system by flooding; otherwise it occurs in the roughing milling in which Ra values are favorable for the traditional system by 60 % over the MQL.
