dc.description.abstractThe inconveniences generated by the loss of information that results in a misinterpretation of the client by the CSE sales personnel, as they cannot find the files during the negotiation due to the lack of a server destined to backup these designs, catalogs or invoices, have Forced the company to invest in a backup system. In the present work, a NAS server prototype based on a Raspberry Pi board is proposed, which allows safe, fast and controlled access to the most delicate and necessary information of the company. The design offer begins with the study and analysis of the environment intended for endorsements, design, billing and sales, together with the operation of the equipment, which does not have a security approach for the creation of patents. From the perspective of the entity, it is necessary to establish a suitable place within the office to house the server. Also, the cabinet's modular capacity is taken into consideration, which has 1TB in its main HD, together with 3 bays and controlled access for internal users from mobile devices with the FTP protocol and SAMBAS only for Windows. Within the economic evaluation, a cost study is approached that allows determining the reliability. The NPV obtained is a value of $ 8,433.23 while the IRR is 308%, the recovery time is 4 months from the initial investment.
