dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this project is analyze the influence of the stiffness of the stairs module on regular and irregular structures of 4 floors built in reinforced concrete; it is considered that the structure is located in Calderon - Metropolitan District of Quito. The research begins with the predesign of structural elements, leading to the modeling of the geometry of reinforced concrete structures in Autodesk Revit 2018 software, then it is exported to the Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2018 software to perform the static analysis and the dynamic analysis respectively, according to the “Norma Ecuatoriana de la Construcción” 2015. There were four structures modeled, two regulars and two irregulars, considering the staircase module and without considering it. As a result of the simulations, it was observed that there was a decrease in both the leaves and the floor, vibration periods and steel amounts of the structures analyzed with staircase module with respect to the structures without stairs module.
