dc.description.abstractThe flammability test for bus bodywork was introduced in Ecuador by the National Transit Agency since 2020, as a prerequisite for the operation of this type of motor vehicle in the country. In accordance with the last, to contribute to the operationalization of this technical requirement locally, this article proposes the validation of a test method designed to determine the burn rate of the internal components that are part of bus bodywork based on ISO 3795: 1989 standard.
