Abstract

The present project is based on a "Feasibility study for the creation of a company that produces and sells personalized and multifunctional wooden furniture, located in Huambaló, Tungurahua province”.

It is intended to offer furniture with novel and innovative styles, whose differentiating factor is in its multifunctionality, a characteristic that makes it special for saving space in people's homes and businesses. The modern generation seeks to decorate their spaces with furniture that has an added value in its design, personalizing their pleasures with elegant and comfortable furniture.

Market research shows that 84.80% of people prefer custom and multifunctional furniture, whereas scarely 15.20% prefer mass-produced furniture. 97% of people are willing to send furniture to be manufactured according to their needs and available spaces, in the proof of the product concept, users see it as an attractive product and with characteristics that differentiate them from the products offered in the market.

In relation to the design service, it will be carried out with a highly qualified professional, personalized attention and advice will be provided by vendors who show kindness and trust to the client, in addition to delivering a good dispatch service and product installation.

The financial evaluation carried out indicates that the implementation of the project is feasible, the internal rate of return (21%) is higher than the discount rate (15%), the investment (217,853.58) recovers before five years in which its recovery was expected.
